SYNOPSIS:

Soft Sleepers is a meditation on the meeting point of death, time, and power.
Set in a post-apocalyptic dream world, Soft Sleepers explores the question of what happens when we wake up to find that the possibilities for the future are limited by the experiences we had in the past.

Soft Sleepers envelopes the audience in a world where cause and effect stare helplessly at one another across the debris of history.  This production promises to leave audiences asking questions about the solidity of every day experience, and the inevitability of progress.

SOFT SLEEPERS is a new play by Jim Bovino, and debuted at Nobles E xperimental Intermedia Studio in St. Paul as part of their "Strange Attractors Festival of International Intermedia" in April, 2002.

SOFT SLEEPERS was alsoperformed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, 2002.
