•

The dérive, a Situationist stroll, acts as a metaphor

for an artistic endeavor with a known starting point

but no fixed destination.

Asked to derive inspiration from a short piece of literature

without context, six artists or groups are asked to disrupt

their usual processes to create short performance works

that share a point of origin, then diverge.

•

Dérive brings together some of the twin cities' most innovative

performing artists in an evening of short performance works at

the newly refurbished Northwestern Casket Company Building in

Northeast Minneapolis.
